ISTE: 2b Students engage in positive, safe, legal, and ethical behavior when using technology, including social interactions online or when using networked devices.

Activities
Students will be able to:

Demonstrate proper digital netiquette with online communication (discussion boards/feedback, email, class chat).
Create a THINK poster/display.
Distinguish between “safe” and “risky” online behavior.

As a group, brainstorm a list of rules that we follow when interacting with other people in-person that we would describe as good etiquette.

EXPLORE

Use Zeoob to create social media postings and text conversations for students to sort based on appropriate netiquette.
